The Proud Home of ZEUS - nationally ranked Labrador Retriever for over 2 years

Zeus has taken the nation by storm, living up to his namesake "Celestial Thunder". At just 10 1/2 months, he finished his championship then took Best of Breeds against some top dogs. He continued his success by taking Best of Breed at the Big Apple Sporting Classic, a show that top sporting dogs use to prepare for Westminster (2007). He competed at his first Westminster at the young age of 1 year and made the cut out of 50+ champions!

In 2008, you could feel the "thunder" when he entered the ring, winning 100+ Best of Breeds and ranked #1 Labrador in Breed through September, then finishing the year ranked #3 Labrador in Breed and #4 Labrador in All Breed. Also by year end, he had multiple group placements - including two Group 1st's! It was marvelous watching him compete in Best in Show.

In 2009, Zeus took some time off from the show circuit for hunt training. He loves the birds! He finished the year as a nationally top-ranked Labrador with very limited showing. He started 2010 off by taking Best of Breed all 3 days at Puyallup, WA. Looking forward to another exciting year with this special dog.

Welcome to Misty Mountain Labrador Retrievers! We are a small hobby kennel located in western Washington. We are under the tutelage of some of the premier Labrador Retriever breeders in the country and with their help (and some of their beautiful puppies) we are in the process of building a great line of Labradors. Our dream is to create a line of Labrador Retrievers that are equally at home in the show ring, the obedience ring, in the duck blind, or just hanging out on the couch watching TV with you. Above all else our breeding program focuses on developing a Labrador that displays the calm and happy disposition that is the hallmark of our breed and makes it a wonderful choice for active families.

Our labradors are an integral part of our family and we look for that same characteristic in our puppies' future families. We realize that not every individual or family needs a show ring champion or a hunting machine! At Misty Mountain Labradors we strive to match a strong, healthy, loving dog that best meets the needs of the adopting individual or family.
